In this episode, Corissa dives a little deeper into the mind and reminds us that “the voice in your head is not you”. We have approximately 60,000 thoughts a day on average & ~95% of those thoughts are subconscious thoughts that are not “our own”. Our personal perspectives, beliefs, values, and opinions are programmed from ages 0-7 years, and they only strengthen as we get older with each “story” we tell ourselves to confirm our own beliefs & opinions.
This voice in our head is often unkind & negative. This voice mostly brings us thoughts created from fear, overwhelm, insecurity, self-doubt, and more. But why? Why can’t our brain reflect our deepest desires and project thoughts of confidence when we’re out in the world “doing life”...?
